Mylo's Happy Dog Session - Hertfordshire

Mylo, just a crazy, happy and lovable Cocker Spaniel, who had a pawsome time in front of my camera. A shoot where we all got wet! Video is in the blog :D

I met Mylo and his humans in a lovely Country Park near Hertford. And as you know, I always love to explore new places. Mylo was the pawfect guide. He showed me the best logs, the best hidden spots and the best muddy puddles. He showed me a secret Bluebell spot and took me to a lovely river, filled with the most colourful pebbles. Yes, sorry I am a pebble lover. I actually have a pebble collection. 

Mylo was the perfect model. With his fluffy ears and big smile and goofyness. He mad the shoot so much fun. And Mylo loved to chase balls. He is one of those dogs who just love to run and play. That's his thing. Come on human - Throw. That. Ball! 
We had the best day for Mylo's session. We had sun, we had a couple of Bluebells and everything was covered in a luminous Spring green. I personally LOVE those colours. So bold. So natural. So perfect for photos. And Mylo agreed. 
But now, to the water photos I mentioned earlier. I am not a water lover, but I don't mind getting in a lake or slow river to get THE shot. And yes I will get wet, most of the time I actually kneel in the water at the end. But hey, jeans will dry, I will dry, shoes will squeak ... but if you get the shot, it is all worth it. And as Mylo is a water doggy, we had to go in the river. His dad throw the ball and Mylo was going for it. 
There is nothing more fun to see dogs having fun and enjoying them selfs. Mylo made us all lough as he tried to pick up pebbles and actually stuck his whole nose under the water, made bubbles and came back with his favourite pebble. Love it. 
And here is also a little video from the wet part of the shoot. Thank you to Mylo's mum for taking it. Love a good behind the scene shot. And you see, I do get wet during the shoot. Wet or muddy, this is my thing :D 
And what is the next best thing after you had fun in the water as a dog? Yes. A good shake and run and have those water drops flying everywhere and make everyone wet who is close by. Mylo in wet action.
