Walkies and Snoozies 

Good Morning :) It is Day (let me check) 28 on lockdown here in the UK I hope you are doing well. I am a little behind on my blog, but my excuse is, that I had to finish off my big secret project first. Hopefully can tell you all about it very soon.

Today I am going to introduce to you all Country & Twee, run by the lovely Hannah, Lou and George. Those ladies are a power team and creating the most beautiful dog coats. What I love is the colours of the underbelly coats. The bright and warm yellow makes even walkies in the rain fun and the burgundy red are coats are simply stunning. Not to forget the Tweed Coats. My Beagles love them, as they are so soft inside and keeping them nice and warm. 

And the beds. Country & Twee beds are the most comfortable dog beds. Trust me, I tried one out and it is sooooo soft and cosy. Specially the Tweed Cave Dog Bed. Five paws up. The bed is pawfect for home or for the office.

How long are you in business for?

Country and Twee was established in 2013. Hannah invested in it back in 2017, with Lou and George coming on board in 2019. 
 

What made you start your business?

We weren't the original founders of Country and Twee, it found its way to us and it was the perfect fit... We love dogs and were all looking for work which could fit around our family lives. What are you offering?

We design and sell luxury dog coats and beds. All our products are made to the highest quality, along with being practical (for example, all our products can be washed, even the Tweed coats and beds). We design for all shapes and sizes. Our breed specific range is very popular. These are coats we have designed for dogs with unique confirmation: Dachshunds, Whippets, French Bulldogs, Whippets, Greyhounds, Lurchers and Pugs.

What is the best thing about your business?

Dogs! Getting to meet dogs (and their owners who are equally besotted by dogs as we are), getting to see dogs wearing or products (we always say this, but it really does make our day). Getting to be in business with your closest friends, we laugh, learn and question each other every day and we feel very lucky to be able to do this together. Are you having a shop or online only?

We are mainly online, but do attend shows/ events too.

We have delivered coats and beds to Australia!

There is one Miniature Dachshund in Oz who has 2 of our cave beds and 3 of our coats! One lucky Daxie!

All our products are made in the U.K., which enables us to ensure our superior products are created at the highest standard. We are extremely passionate about supporting British Manufacturing and other small businesses.
