At the Beach - Millie's Beach Huts

If you are like me, you LOVE the Beach. And if you know my Beagles, they are Beach Bum Beagles. So after #barkzealand we headed for some much needed Beagle time to Walton on the Naze, for a Day at the Beach. And if you know England, a day at the beach means wearing three layers, a hat and scarf and wellies. But we were well prepared, as we booked one of Millie's little Beach Huts, which was our base for the day. And what a perfect little base it was. 

Millie's Beach Huts are run by the lovely Vicky and her trusted furry best friend Millie - yes that's were the name "Millie's Beach Huts" comes from. The little huts are a hideaway from a busy day at the beach, a wonderful get away for a weekend or a weekday or just a perfect spot for a day at the beach, where you can hide from the weather (yes we need this here in the UK), read a book, create your own little zone ... Its simply perfect. And the colours. Yes, there are over 100 huts and they come in all colours of the rainbow. I love it. 
Inside the little huts, you will find everything you need for your Beach Day, something to make the very important cup of tea, to cook (and eat) breakfast or lunch, a beach chair, stuff to build a sandcastle. 
Oh yes and most importantly. Millie's Beach Huts are Dog Friendly! Paws UP. 
We started out day exploring the beach, throwing balls, sniffing around (The Beagles - not us), having an ice cream - yes it was only 10 degrees, but hey - if at the beach, you have to have an ice cream. We wondered to the pier, which is so close, where we hit the Penny Arcade. It is so English, so beachy and so wonderful traditional.

Back at base - aka out little Beach Hut for the day, we sat down with a cup of tea and chocolate cake and watched the world go by. The Beagles loved laying at the door and see the doggies wiggle pass and woofing at the seagulls. They do love the beach and just settled down in the sun and had a sleep on the little sofa inside the hut.  

So what can we say about Millie's Beach Huts. Well we 100% will be back. The little huts are perfect (or shall I say pawfect) for a day out. You don't have to worry about making a sandcastle for the day, no worry about the tide and it is just so super cute. 

So here is our review of Millie's Beach Hut.
