Crufts 2019 - Hound Day

If was this time of the year. The time to meet and cuddle hundreds of dogs at the NEC in Birmingham. Dog Lovers from all over the World coming to this event, held every year in March here in the UK. It is almost like a yearly pilgrimage to see dogs. Hail the Dog :) 

The Kennel Club is organising this yearly event, an event in which the best of the dogs will be crowed the winner of the breeds. If you are like me, than this makes no difference to you, as you will know the only real winner is the furry tail wagging creature next to you on the sofa. The one who walks with you every day, the one who licks your sandwhich (and you will still eat it haha), the one who is your best friend and companion.
This year I went on Hound Day, or how I call it Beagle Day :) and on Toy Dog Day. Beagle Day is a must, as they are My Breed and hounds are simply the best. They are goofy, clever, amazing characters ... Well you Hound and Beagle people out there know what I mean. But all dogs are wonderful! Not sure if you ever been, but the whole event can be a bit overwelming. From dogs galore to shopping until you creit card stopps working. I ended up with 3 big bags with filled for Porthos & Lucy Beagle ... and nothing for me. You know who rules our house :) The great thing at Crufts is, that you can meet businesses and chat to the owners and can get a real feel for a business. I met some wonderful people here over the years, which went from business friends to real friends and supporters. 

The other great thing at Crufts for me is, you can meet like minded photograhers. It is always lovely to meet face to face instead of the odd FB chat. Chat about ideas and dreams and organise meet ups. 

Part II will be Toy Dogs. Keep your eyes open.
