Goodbye 2018 and Welcome 2019

Only a couple of hours to go and we will say goodbye 2018 and welcome 2019.

I want to say a BIG Thank You to you all, for your support through out the year and for all your love. It does mean the world to me, that you all are here to share my journey with me and The Beagles.

Looking back, 2018, the Year of the Dog, it was a whirlwind. It was crazy, it was wonderful, full of adventures, love, making memories, photographing dogs, travelling, family ...

I was lucky enough to explore new places around the globe, from photographing dogs in Cairo at the Pyramids, to capturing dogs in Paris, New York City, Cancun, Germany and Malta. As you might know, I am a traveller, I always have been, so keep your eyes open, because 2019 will be exciting.

2018 was the year of ticking of boxes on our #bucketlist and also a year of seeing some of the Wonders of the World, like the Pyramids in Cairo and Mexico, both on my list of places to see since I was a little girl and started reading all the books about the Egyptians and Maya's. Yes, I am a geek and proud to be one :) And as some of you know, my dream was to take Porthos & Lucy Beagle to Paris, to take a photo with them in front of the Eiffel Tower. And this is what we did. We packed the car and drove all the way to the City of Love and we got THE photo.

Porthos and Lucy Beagle, my heart dogs, their year was filled with adventures. From heading to Paris, to visiting dog fashion shows, having commercial photo shoots to lazing in the sun and running on the beach. Porthos did celebrate his 10th Barkday and I have no idea where the last 10 years have gone ...

I was lucky enough to meet some amazing and wonderful clients this year, some which became good friends. I am very thankful, that they chose me to create photographs and memories of their furry companions. Each and every dog leaves their paw prints in my heart and I am very honoured to tell their story. 2018 was filled with both, happy and sad stories and some furbabies had to make their way over the rainbow bridge. But they will never be forgotten.
And like each year, I met rescue dogs at the HULA Animal Rescue and Rspca Blackberry Farm Animal centre, telling their story and helping a little, so they can find their furever homes.

So what will 2019 bring? No plans made, I will see where the wind will bring us and what adventures will come our way. But I know, 2019 will be dogtastic :)

I hope you all will have a wonderful New Years Eve. "Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr" - how we say it in Germany :) Happy New Year.

Love Bridget and The Beagles :)
